Project Partners

The project is trying to answer the need of Al Anbar province in the field of new approaches in agricultural management. In the Peer – To- Peer project Al Anbar governorate officials and stakeholders will play an active role in collaboration with Slovenian municipalities. The Slovenian peer will offer best practice examples in the field of farmers’ cooperatives and virtual markets, while the Al Anbar representatives will choose the most viable model. The model will then be adapted to the local context and implemented, involving farmers in decision-making. Project activities will also target entrepreneurs, local farmers, and young unemployed inhabitants to benefit from the newly established incentives and opportunities provided by the Al Anbar governorate.
